Summer Tips for Seniors
Since summer is nearing seniors have to be extra care on their health to keep them fit. There are certain medications which cause dehydration and sun burn. Usually in summer people are
susceptible to dehydration, sunburn and heat stroke and aggravate other medical conditions.
Talk to your physician about your medication and find out if they are prone to heat stoke and dehydration then take some precautionary measures to reduce it. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent yourself from dehydration. Limit your outdoor physical activities, humid and pollution can make breathing difficult especially seniors with asthma. To avoid food poisoning use ice chests or insulated totes to keep food the right temperature.
