Celebrating Father’s Day with 15% off on ED Drugs!

Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. This is a beautiful way to acknowledge the love and efforts of a father in bringing up kids. It also brings to mind the psychological gifts of confidence, self-esteem, responsibility sense of adventure and sensible risk-taking that dads give their kids. It also makes dads feel more responsible towards their children.

The origin of Father’s Day is interesting. The first ever edition was celebrated on June 19, 1910 at the YMCA in Spokane, Washington by Sonora Smart Dodd. Sonora’s dad was 16 when her mother died. She and her siblings were then brought up by her father, the civil war veteran William Jackson Smart. She was moved by his affection and dedication in raising them and this was no easy task. She wanted to honor him with this initiative.

There is an interesting tradition associated with Father’s Day. All sons and daughters wore a rose to church; they wore a red rose as a mark of admiration for a living father and a white rose to pay tribute to a deceased father

In 1913, Father’s Day was introduced as a national holiday by the Congress. Sermons were preached in honor of dads across the country. However, it grew to be a secular festival. This is currently celebrated in many countries across the globe though the dates may differ.

Children give gifts to their father. They take a lot of trouble to choose something special for their dad. Popular gifts are chocolates, clothes, ties, garden tools, D-I-Y tools, books, personalized gifts and so on.

At Internationaldrugmart.com, we believe that this special occasion deserves to be celebrated with a special offer. We offer 15% off on ED Drugs. Take advantage of this offer. It’s on till 25th June.
